FAQ's

How long do you play for?
We play for 2/2.5 hours with a short break in between for food and refreshments.

How long do you take to set up?
Our set up time is approximately 50 mins once we gain access to the room/stage. We will also have background music underway in 15 mins once the PA is set up.

Will you travel nationwide?
Yes we are happy to travel anywhere in Ireland for a wedding.

Can you set up before the meal?
This would require an extra fee and may not always be possible. Please check with us for availability.

Do you provide a DJ?
Yes we offer a band and DJ package. We work with a pool of professional wedding DJ's.

Can we pick the playlist for the DJ?
Yes, our DJ's always welcome playlists from the bride and groom. This gives the DJ a better sense of your musical tastes. However, the DJ will have his own playlist ready so there is no onus on you to create and submit your own. We'll provide contact details for the DJ so you can liaise directly with him.

How long does the DJ play for?
The DJ will commence immediately after our last note is played and will play on until finish, which will vary, depending on the hotel's cut off time on entertainment. (Average DJ set is approximately 1.5/2 hours). If you want the DJ to play longer this will incur an extra charge and would be at the discretion of the DJ.

Can we see you perform at a wedding?
We would love to say yes but, unfortunately no.... let us explain.... Because we are in such demand there are many couples at any given time that would like to see us perform at a wedding. However in our experience the bride and groom are not always entirely comfortable with the idea of non-guests attending their wedding., never mind 20+ gate crashers LOL....

Alternatively we are regularly playing public gigs and we have videos on our website where you can see us perform.

Can we decide the set list?
We have a tried and tested (and constantly updated) set list that is guaranteed to keep the floor full and the party hopping all night long. We ask you to trust us with the choice of songs which we will tailor to suit your special day. If however there are some specific requests we are generally happy to accommodate them. Please talk to us well in advance and we can work together in designing the perfect set list.

Can we be sure the band won't be too loud?
Yes. We are professional and have a state of the art sound system which we carefully sound check to ensure that volume levels are perfect for the venue. We are also conscious that some of your guests may be from an older generation and do not want their heads blown off by loud music!!!...

With this in mind we constantly monitor our volume levels throughout the night.

How does the band dress for weddings?
We have a unique dress code for weddings which is neat and respectable yet retains the edginess of an exciting modern wedding band. After all you want the band to look like a band and not waiters!:).... Don't worry all of your female guests will approve!!;)

Can we choose the first dance?
Yes, of course. You have 2 options;

• Have the original version played on a CD or an iPod.
• We can play the song live (3 months notice required). 99% of the time we can perform your chosen song, the only exception is where the song is overly studio produced or contains unusual instrumentation which would make it impossible to replicate live. If we felt that we couldn't perform it to our high standard then we would direct you to the CD version. This is rare and we always do our best to play the first song.

Can guests get up to sing?
Yes as long as the request is coming directly from the bride and groom and preferably pre-arranged in advance. Otherwise you might have "Uncle Tommy", who's had 9 too many and now thinks he's Frank Sinatra, get up on stage and refuse to leave 5 songs later!!!!....

Do you play a mix of songs at a wedding?
Yes we play a very broad mix of songs from 60's to country, waltzes to pop, rock to reggae and everything in between. Our aim is to have the floor full all night where we cater for young and old, and nobody is disappointed.

Do you require a deposit and is it refundable?
Yes we require a deposit to secure the booking. Until the deposit has been paid, we cannot guarantee your date. The deposit is non refundable.

How do I book?
Contact us via mobile or email where we can discuss availability with you. Once the date is available and you are satisfied to proceed we will provide you with details of how the deposit can be paid. Once we receive the deposit your date is fully booked.

When do we pay the balance?
We have a number of payment options available to you for your wedding payment. The balance is due on or prior to the date of your wedding. We can discuss which is most suitable for you.
