Paul ‘Ricky’ Ryan comes from a clan of drumming legends, renowned in the
local area as the keepers of sacred time. Paul was a member of local marching
band, Banna Cluain Meala, for many years where he received formal drumming
instruction and he is indeed a master of his instrument. He never misses a beat
and is rock solid in his performances. He plays from the heart and forms the
backbone of Supersoul Machine.

Paul and has played with many bands over the years including Blanca Transfer, Precise and Mookie Blaylock. He has years of recording and studio experience under his belt. It has been said that if Carlsberg made drummers etc…..
